Question Combination seat that reclines?

Which combination seats have a recline? I need a new seat for my 2.8 year old and he has low muscle tone. This seat is for my husbands hyundai accent and will be used in emergency only. He rear faces in my car and rides in a radian which works great. Thanks! :D

Does it have to be a combination, or can it be a convertible? The MyRide 65 has a nice recline forward facing.

I would vote My Ride 65. The Recaro convertibles are also fairly reclined and supportive.

Other then that, the seats that recline in ff mode are:
Graco Safe Seat 2 (Snugseat) - but it's been discontinued... so any seats you find will probably be a few years old on the shelves.
Maxi Cosi Priori allows for recline ff
Britax's new line of seats have a full recline position for rf, and then a "recline" position for ff as well as the full upright (so 3 positions total - 2 can be used ff).

Evenflo told us yesterday they've added 5 degrees more recline to the Maestro, but I don't know if it will be enough for a child with special needs even with that.

ya, i mean..technically the nauti has 2 recline settings, but it REALLY depends on how your seats are shaped...in some vehicles, it's still really upright despite that.

I too think myride..or even an EFTA maybe?

Any type of seat will do but we need three across. We do have a my ride that will be going into my car as it takes up half of the backseat in the accent. Anyone have experience with the Graco cargo? I read that it does recline and is narrow. Is that true? Anything better? We are trying not to spend another $250 on another seat. The other seats in this car are forward facing Radian for L and Roundabout for Evan. Evan is too tall to rearface in the roundabout now :(

My Britax DC 'overlaps' beautifully over the XT (both are FF) in dh's car. The DC is in the center, so the 'bump' helps to put it up even higher over the XT so that I can get 3 across in dh's car (GrandPrix). And the DC has a really nice recline too it naturally. Plus, you CAN use it in the recline mode if the kiddo is under the weight limit (33lbs for my model). Though I find it to be plenty reclined in the upright position.

Does the 2.5 year old fit in the roundabout forward facing? My niece did until she was close to 4. Then you could get an avenue or scenera for Evan and keep him rear facing. When R ( I think that is the 2.5 year old right?) outgrows the roudabout he could trade with Evan. Or maybe an Avenue for R if he doesn't fit in the roundabout.

I am not sure the Cargo, Masetro or Chase will have enough recline. You could probably get a MA65 for a decent price, since a lot of places are clearing them out. BRU has the trade in deal again right now. I would think the Radian, Roundabout and MA would fit all forward facing, but I would try to do what you can to get the baby rear facing again, even if it will only be used in an emergency.

Is the scenera really taller than the roundabout? He is a big boy and is too tall for the rounabout so he will get a new seat for my car. Any other larger seats do not rear face well in the Accent. It stresses me but he will only ride in an emergency (car accident, hospital emergency).
