I was just on britax.ca and they've added the Boulevard65 in Paisley, and the Marathon65 in Allison!!!! Yeah!!!! They gave us some fun covers to choose from!!!!

If only the Boulevard came in Allison....then my choice would be soooo easy! :)

Anyone else ordering a new Britax Covertible? What seat and cover have you picked and why?

I will have to check them out but really didn't like the cover options. When I read Darren's review (I think) of the Marathon-it looked nice in the red. I don't think it is coming to Canada but question.....do you think that the red colour would fade in the car quite a bit? Ick...I hate faded looking things!

I agree...I was very very bummed about the cover choices they were offering in Canada. Especially when we could see the ones the US, and how much better they were. :(

I still wish there was a Boulevard cover that was all plush.....not one of the Canadian options is all plush, they're plush on the sides with upholstery in the middle. You'd think if they offered all plush anywhere, it'd be in Canada where a good chunk of the year its cold!!!! Anyway....I digress.

I'm not sure if the red would fade or not....I suppose there is a chance it would, but probably no more than black, and the majority of the seats are black around the edge. Actually my DD1 has a Black cover on her seat that is 2 years old, and I don't think its faded at all. But the seat is in a side window of a van, not under the back window of a car....and that might make a difference.

I wish we had more cover choices too. I had the Ashley for DD, but now DS will be needing the seat very soon and I'd like to get something else for him besides yellow with pink flowers.

Quick question in response to someone above mentioning part plush part ulphostery (sp) and the colder climate here in Canada. I am concerned a bit with ds overheating and its been super hot in the summer and his snugride is sticky hot. Should I look for something part p/part ulpostery (geez, how do you spell that??) so it's not so hot in summer? Is the all plush pretty hot? I do like cushy though :)

My daughters is all plush and I've never noticed her being hot to be a problem in the summer. I would think the more slippery, shiny, plastic like covers (ie Onyx) to be sweatyier??? I don't know, but that's my speculation and why I've always avoided them (along with simply not liking the feel).
