Garmin Ltd. announced today that it is voluntarily recalling approximately 1.25 million nüvi personal navigation devices (of which approximately 796,000 units were sold in the United States) that contain batteries manufactured by a third-party supplier within a defined date code range and that have a specific printed circuit board (PCB) design. Garmin has identified potential overheating issues when the third party supplier’s batteries manufactured within this limited date code range are used in certain Garmin devices with the PCB design. Only the 200W, 250W, 260W, 7xx and 7xxT (where xx is a two-digit number) model numbers may be affected. These units were sold worldwide.

Flat Screen Television Wall Mounts Recalled by Milestone AV Technologies Due to Injury Hazard. Sold at: The Sanus Vision Mount model LF228-B1 was sold through independent television mount dealers nationwide from June 2009 through July 2010 for about $450. The Simplicity model SLF2 was sold through Costco from June 2009 through July 2010 for about $200.

Char-Broil Recalls Vertical Gas Smokers Due to Injury Hazard. Sold at: Walmart and various other retailers nationwide from March 2008 through June 2010 for about $140.

Zemco Industries, a Buffalo, N.Y., establishment, is recalling approximately 380,000 pounds of deli meat products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled deli meat was used in "Marketside Grab and Go Sandwiches" and produced on various dates from June 18 to July 2, 2010, and have various "Use By" dates ranging from August 20 to September 10, 2010. The products were distributed nationwide to Walmart stores.

Snow White Food Products Inc., located in 621 Bergen Street in Brooklyn, New York, is recalling certain packages of "Alfalfa Sprouts" due to the presence of Salmonella. The recalled "Alfalfa Sprouts" is packaged in a 3.5 ounce plastic clamshell container which is uncoded. It has a UPC code of 0-46421-11236-6. The product was distributed in New York State.

AustiNuts Wholesale, Inc. is issuing this voluntary recall of pistachio kernel products (Pistachio Kernels , Deluxe Nut Mix, Gourmet Nut Mix) due to a recall that was issued by it's supplier California Delights, Inc. California Delights, Inc issued a recall for two shipments of pistachio kernels received by AustiNuts Wholesale, Inc. in July 2010 due to the possibility of contamination with Salmonella. The Pistachio Kernels, Deluxe Nut Mix and Gourmet Nut Mix were only distributed in Texas.

GloryBee Foods, Inc., of Eugene, Oregon is voluntarily recalling Aunt Patty's brand 5 pound bags of Whole Raw Pistachios and 25 lb. boxes of Specialty Commodities brand Whole Raw Pistachios Kernels, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The Whole Raw Pistachio Kernels were distributed in Oregon (Western to Central Oregon) and Washington (Western Washington) by direct delivery to retail stores and bakeries.

Fruiti Pops, Inc. of Santa Fe Springs has recalled its mamey frozen fruit bars because of a possible link to a rare U.S. outbreak of typhoid fever. The company said Thursday that the fruit bars were distributed in California, Arizona and Texas since May 2009. Retail stores, ice cream trucks and vending machines sold the frozen fruit bars, which have the UPC number 763734000097.

Azteca Linda Corp. of Brooklyn, NY, is recalling QUESO FRESCO (FRESH WHITE CHEESE) and QUESO HEBRA (FRESH WHITE STRING CHEESE) with an expiration date of September 11, 2010because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. QUESO FRESCO (FRESH WHITE CHEESE) was sold to two distributors in Providence, Rhode Island. QUESO HEBRA (FRESH WHITE STRING CHEESE) was distributed to retail stores in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York, and to one distributor in Providence, Rhode Island.

NY Fish Inc, is recalling NY Fish Brand (cold) Smoked Herring, with a code of 141. The product was found to be uneviscerated prior to processing. This product was sold in New York State.

Moark, LLC, is voluntarily recalling specific lots of shell eggs produced by Hillandale Farms of Iowa and packaged by Moark, LLC, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Moark repackaged the eggs for retail customers (under the brand names Albertsons, Yucaipa Valley, Farmer’s Gems and Mountain Dairy), as well as providing unbranded eggs to foodservice customers. The eggs were sold by Moark to retail and wholesale customers in Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa is adding one California-distributed brand label – Cardenas Market – to its voluntary recall of August 13, 2010 of specific Julian dates of shell eggs produced by their farms because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The eggs affected were ultimately distributed to Cardenas Market stores in California and Nevada.

NuCal Foods is voluntarily recalling specific Julian dates of shell eggs produced by Hillandale Farms of Iowa and packaged by NuCal Foods because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Eggs affected by this recall were distributed to food wholesalers and retailers in California and Nevada under the following bands: Bayview, Becky, Cal Egg, Lucerne, Mi Pueblo, Nulaid.

Cal-Maine has voluntarily recalled specific Julian dates of shell eggs purchased on May 31, 2010, from Hillandale Farms of Iowa and re-packaged by Cal-Maine’s Benton County, Arkansas, facility, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The affected eggs were distributed to food wholesalers and retailers in Oklahoma and Arkansas under the following brands - Wagon Trail, West Creek, Generic, Sam's Bulk.

Trafficanda Egg Ranch is voluntarily recalling specific Julian dates of Medium, Large, X Large, and Jumbo Cartons; 5 Dozen Medium Over Wrap and 20 Count Over Wrap of shell eggs produced by Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Eggs affected by this recall were distributed to grocery stores and foodservice companies in California. The affected eggs were packaged under the Trafficanda Egg Ranch brand names packaged in 12-egg cartons, 20-egg over wrap, and 5 dozen over wrap with the Julian dates ranging from 136 to 229 and plant numbers 1026, 1413, 1720, 1942 and1946.

Luberski Inc. is voluntarily recalling specific Julian dates of shell eggs produced by Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Eggs affected by the recall were distributed to food wholesalers, retail centers and food service companies in California and Nevada. Eggs were packaged under the CRF 20 and 30 egg overwrap units and Loose 15 dozen units. No Retail Carton Eggs of any kind are affected including CRF and Alta Dena Brand Name. Loose 15 dozen units affected were under Alta Dena Dairy, Driftwood Dairy, Hidden Villa Ranch, and Challenge Dairy from plant codes p-1026, p-1413, and p-1946. Julian code dates are 209-224. Dates and codes can be found on the label.

Integra LifeSciences Corporation, Plainsboro, New Jersey, has initiated a worldwide recall of the NeuroBalloon Catheter. The NeuroBalloon Catheter is intended for dilation of cerebral membrane fenestrations under direct or endoscopic visualization during intracranial procedures. A total of eight (8) complaints regarding the inflation or deflation of the NeuroBalloon Catheter were received by Integra.

Natural Wellness is announcing that it is conducting a nationwide voluntary recall of MasXtreme, Lot # 907043, UPC 094922300805. Laboratory analysis conducted by FDA has determined the product contains undeclared amounts of Aminotadalafil, an analog of tadalafil. Tadalafil is an FDA-Approved drug used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), making the MasXtreme an unapproved new drug. The product is distributed nationwide by Natural Wellness Inc.

We have these at work, in a toddler classroom. Actually, the magnet did detach from one of them over a year ago, I put it in my pocket and took it home so no one could choke on it. It was a really powerful magnet too. I had it in my pocket standing next to my car, and suddenly found myself stuck to the car. I never thought to report it to CSPC. I think the other one broke at some point too, because they were both put away and not gotten out anymore. Thank goodness nothing bad happened.
