SR22 - How upright?

I have had the SR22 at the highest setting on the base. DD2 is now 6 .5 months and hates riding in it. I think it is partly due the the 45 degree angle. Can I move the foot down all the way, hence get a better, more upright angle for her or is that against all rules?

If I can, I an get DD1 and DD2 next to each other again. At least for a while longer...

A developmentally normal six-month-old can handle (and probably prefer) a more upright angle. I have had my 6 month old at about a 38-40 degree angle.

So it is OK to have orange (I think it is) showing the the level meter? I understand the 45 degree angle for newborns but this is one is one early developed girl. She is already crawling and pulling herself up to standing, so pretty good body control. She really likes her EFTA, but I would prefer to have her right next to DD1, so if I could install the SR22 again, that would be great.

No, it can't show orange. But that blue is an acceptable range, not just 45 degrees. One end is 45, the other far more upright. Feel free to move it more upright, but still in the blue.
