Head flop in rf CA

Yesterday we spent the day at the zoo and on the way home dd2 fell asleep. I looked back and her head was flopped forward. She had a hard time staying asleep. I don't think it's too upright. Is it because of the wings?

Why oh why doesn't other tall seats work in my van. :(

I had the same thing with my 1yr old. It definitely wasn't too upright, just too upright for her :( Her head fell forward, and to the side, and was under 1 of the side wings :( Can you recline it some more?

We do get head slump unless we use it at the full 45 degree angle, which for us, is fine because it fits that way and ds likes being reclined.

We never had head flop, don't even get it ff'ing (as you can see in my siggy pic.) We had the seat installed around a 38 to 40* angle though - ds never cared and I tend to go with the angle that "looks right."

I agree that I'd try reclining it a bit more and see if that helps.

Thanks I'll recline it more to see what happens. She doesn't fall sleep often, but when she does she really needs the nap.
