When to give up on perfection?

I went out and got a different seat. It works great where I wanted it. Child riding in it approves.

Now there's still the third row to work out. The van has 5 tether anchor locations. The one and only forward facing seat (a radian) puzzles best in the location of no anchor.

I've gone to great lengths for my older kids to all ride in high back boosters. I want my 5 year old to ride forward facing because she really wants to ride forward facing. I could rear-face her in the untethered spot. She did for vacation, but she doesn't want to and she is 5.5 years old and I think she should have a say. I used to stick a forward facing radian between bodyguard and vivo. I don't know why it doesn't work anymore, but it doesn't. I can fit it on the side with the bodyguard in the middle and have room to buckle. I think it is because the belt stalk for the driver's side seat is behind the one in the middle, making it further back to reach than the middle stalk.

Would you really rearrange yet again? Buy/trade for yet another different seat? Hang it all and buy some old 12 passenger van?

That's a hard one... I just ordered 2 new Radians for my demon Jeep but that was the only way to make things fit!! I think if there is a way for everyone to be safe and comfortable in your vehicle and you like your van then stick with it... sounds like a 12 passenger van would be easier though!
