Husky Cover (Wicket) for sale

Wicket cover for a Britax Husky - $35 + $5 shipping. "Wicket" is the tan sort-of-animal print (I can't figure out which animal it's supposed to be!) Here's a picture when it was new:

(Note: No, this little baby did *not* ride in the seat!) :)

The cover is still in very good condition (2 yrs old); it has been washed once or twice, but always on gentle/cold cycle and line-dried. Cover only. (If needed, new straps are available from Britax for about $25 for harness straps and $10 for the crotch buckle strap.) Britax also sells replacement covers for about $50 (wish I'd known this last month, as I paid at least that much for a used one on eBay!) I'm selling the Wicket cover because I changed our cover to Marina (to make 5 yo DS happier about going back into a harness seat from a booster, and added new straps because I'm pretty sure I probably washed the old ones at one time before I knew better.)

PM me if interested (I'll be out all morning, but can reply later today). I wanted to offer it to the group first before listing it on eBay! :)

I love Wicket, always wanted it instead of Marina, I had cars with tan interiors and thought it would match so well. :p But I just bought a vehicle with gray interior, and for once, the Marina with gray straps looks so nice!

Good luck selling it!

It's a good thing you stuck with your Marina cover--Marina really does look better in a gray interior -- especially if you have to install it long-belt-path, the gray seatbelt matches the gray harness straps! :) Car seat aesthetics!

Wish I had seen this earlier but I am sure DH would just think me more carseat obessed...

I know exactly what you mean. I had to shush my son when he started to tell DH about his "new gray carseat straps and blue cover." :p DH has said no more carseats. (Fortunately I shouldn't need another one for another year or two!)

Yep same here. I have said we are done, TILL they outgrow their seats. Hopefully it will be a few years. Of course it will probably be my older will outgrow the Husky about the time is brother outgrows a radian. And they will both NEED new seats.
