Question Why are there no commercials for car seats?

There are also no commercials for strollers, babycribs, sqings and other large baby gear. I think because it not something purchased on a monthly basis or a huge expense like car. Much like individual furniture companies sold in big box stores. They have brands but the don't advertise.
I remember Safeguard had a TV commercial a few years ago. I never saw one but it was airing during some family or kids' shows and/or on TLC, if I remember correctly from posts discussing the commercial.
