It'd be nice if it was. Those types have been recommended before, and the first one is honestly unique (though not good if your seat requires the handle down in the car). But my guess is, since the original sells, they won't replace it.

Plus, the original IS good for strollers.

It looks like the first one could still have the handle down in the car if you needed to. Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like if you had the front open like in the picture, put the handle down, and then pulled it back out of baby's reach, it would work.
