Replacement parts for Canadian snugride

My friend washed the straps for her Canadian snugride. It's a 22 lb snugride. Her son is, I suspect, too heavy for it. She's using public transit right now, so it's not a big deal but it does need to be replaced at some point. Aside from having washed the harness (in the shower, due to diaper blow-out) it's in PERFECT condition and there's no reason not to sell it to help fund another seat for the child.

Does anyone know the cost for a replacement harness for a Canadian Snugride? Just trying to figure out if that'd be a cost-effective method.

I thought it was okay to run water on the harness, just not to soak the harness? I guess it would depend on how long it took the harness to dry out after the shower?

I believe that her bf put the straps into the shell and showered them in there, which, to me, is the same thing as having soaked them. Either way, since I wasn't supervising the washing of the straps, I'm not comfortable helping her sell it if the harness isn't replaced.
