I had a few seats out of various cars recently and decided to try the Radian rf'ing in the center of my burb. After 30min of various 'tricks' to get it a)in snug and b)more upright...I gave up on both counts and installed the MA in literally less than 1 minute. I love how easily it installs.
Now, that said...I did put the Radian in dh's truck...FF for one of the twins and got a rock solid, though very upright, install in a matter of 2 minutes....and the MA will NOT install in this vehicle FF. So, the Radian does have it's place...and the MA does have it's limits. Fortunately for me, where one doesn't work, the other seems to.
As much as I want to love the Radian, I DO love my Britax. I wish I was more impressed with their new line-up. I hope they didn't shoot themselves in the foot with the redesign of their seats. With the bigger base and lower shell, I'm not sure I'd be able to get the new seat in next to the Frontier where I need it. It's because of the base, that it works so well. And the lock offs.
