Hi. I am a NICU nurse and we have a family that has brought in a Maxi-Cosi seat that is 'from Germany' (per the parents). The only sticker I can find on the seat says this on an orange tag...
Front and rear Seat-- Universal

So my questions... first.. is it correct that this seat was not sold in the US? And if it was not sold in the US can they use it here? And if so, how would we check for recalls and such?
Our carseat tech won't be here for a while and the mom will be here soon but requires a spanish interpreter so we'd like to have this answered so we can talk to her about it.
