Jewels: I am just uploading the pictures now. Kort has been having a blast climbing between the Marathon and the Radian.

Here is one of the pics.

Am I the only wpg tech on the board?

Yep, I'm from Wpg. Well, St Norbert, but it's still winnipeg.

Sadly, I don't know if I'll be able to make it after all. But you can bet I'm going to try my best to be there! My 16 year old was going to look after the boys but now she has to work, and my hubby likely can't stay home in the morning...but I"m going to beg and plead for him too anyway:whistle:

Couldn't find my email from Jeanie, but I've found it (hence editing this question).

I hope to see you there!

I am just outside of Winnipeg, but St Norbert is now considered Winnipeg, so I'm not sure what to put. I am literally on the other side of the perimeter and Pembina Hwy.......

If you can be there about 15-20 mins early so around 9:10-9:15am. That way all the techs can talk a little before the inspections start. There is usually a few older techs and than some newbies. I am dropping my little guy off at the babysitter just before 9am and they live just 5 mins or so from MPI. I will be wearing a white CRST t-shirt and probably capris and sandels.

Everything is provided (even food and drinks). The only thing I usually bring is a pen on a rope since I always seem to lose mine. Wear comfy clothes and nothing that will show off assets when bending over a seat. I always wear sandels in case I have to kick them off.

Well, here I am sitting at home and very sad:(
I wanted to go so badly, but it's not raining and now DH had to go to work. I have no one to watch the kids. I guess this is just how it goes sometimes.
:(

I could have asked my in laws to take the boys but, our Grandad is having major surgery today, is 94 and is not doing well, so they want to be by the phone, uninterrupted and ready to go if they need to.

I hope those who attend have fun!

My husband is at the claim centre right now and he says there is nobody there. Where are you supposed to go?

You drive around back to where cars get inspected for claims.

I went :) My DS1 is now forward facing and was quite the back seat driver as we left. All I heard from the back seat was "watch out dar, watch out!"

Guess I'll have to change my siggy.

Does your RN65 RF until 40lbs?
I have one that does, but it's a 2010, maybe that's why?

But, you managed to RF to almost 3 years, WTG!!!

clinic was good, i did 6 inspections and 3 off them were perfect installs which amazed me. I saw birdflippen and she got a great tech to help her. Jeanie said there should be another one this year

My RN is an '09, so sadly it only goes to 30lbs.

I had fun. DH was joking the other day that if I became a tech, would I have a siren and badge to pull bad seat usage over? If only:whistle: Now to find the time to become a tech.
