Boulevard and Roundabout covers - question

A few quick questions about Britax covers! :)

- Boulevard covers: are there big differences between old and new Boulevards? I am considering a cover that was purchased directly from Britax (so it doesn't relate directly to a seat with specific DOM) and the seller *thinks* it works with older BVs. (I think my seat is about 2005 or '06, have to go check the DOM shortly). The one for sale supposedly works with BV and BV CS seats.

- Roundabout covers: Are these the same for older and newer models? I have 3 covers, one from about 2005 and the other two even older than that (given to me; one is denim on the sides with a blue/white check in the middle, and the other is navy blue with white figures on it). Wondering if they would still fit newer RA's, or if they are not useful any more.

Thanks for any info you may have! :)

Yes, you should be able to use the covers on both styles of the original Boulevard (but not the new Boulevard 70).

Likewise, the original Roundabout covers will fit any other Roundabout 40, but not a Roundabout 50 or Roundabout 55.

The covers on the BV's fit the old headrests and the new ones equally well, Maedze? I wasn't sure if the smaller covers would fit on the larger headrests, but if they do, that's awesome.

I know you can put an old style cover on a newer style BV, and I'm pretty sure I've heard people here put a new cover on an older style. Fit's not perfect but close enough for gubmint work

Just to confirm what Maedze said, with real-life experience. :) I swapped covers from my early 2007 boulevard and my 2009 boulevard. The seats definitely have the different style headwings, but the covers work okay on the other style. It's not *great*, but workable. The one thing you can't swap out is the foam that goes on the headwings.
