What a car seat day!

Since I decided I need a booster back-up seat, I went on a mission today to go car seat searching. The stops were: Target #1, specialty store called A 2 Z baby, Kmart, BRU, and Target #2.
Target #1: Crappy selection, nothing on sale. pass.
A 2 Z baby: My favorite store! One of those specialty stores that has an awesome selection - RN 65SL and XTSL, MR, Nauti, CA, several different Britax seats - basically all the ones we recommend every day. PLUS, I had several employees come up to talk to me and were pushing ERF'ing! :thumbsup: 1 thing I didn't like: They carried the Graco CS. :thumbsdown: I think I'm going to go back in soon and talk to them about why they shouldn't carry that stupid seat. I also may or may not have salivated over some awesome strollers.
Kmart: This is where I scored big time! They had high-back TB on sale for $24 - in a cute print, even! Picked one up for less than the cost of a NBB! :thumbsup:
BRU: Harvest CA on clearance for $120, I believe. Almost picked it up but I had forgotten my awesome coupons. I think I'll go back tomorrow - I should be able to bring the price way down, IF we can use coupons on clearance items? I think we can?
Target #2: Stopped in hopes they had something on clearance, a return or something. Nada.

It worked out to about 2 1/2 hours of car seat browsing today.

Sounds like you had a great carseat shopping day. Did you make it back to BRU to buy that Harvest Complete Air?

What a day! I'm impressed that you managed it all in 2.5 hours too. But I think my perspective on time spent shopping is a bit skewed since it would take me all of 2.5 hours to drive to and from our nearest Target, not counting getting out of the car and going into the store.
