I just got a My Ride for $64.98!

I had to go to Target today and of course I had to browse the car seat isle. When low and behold, what was there...an online return MR! I couldn't help myself and had to pick it up.

The DOM is 5/27/10.:thumbsup:

I haven't had a chance to play yet but I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping this as my backup seat and then possibly using it as a main seat after Gavin outgrows the MA RF'ing.

ETA: I just installed it passenger side outboard with lap/shoulder belt in my 2000 Chevy Suburban. I just want to say that was the easiest install I've ever done in my life! I had the sucker in shake the car rock solid in less then 2 minutes! I'm in love!

You'll use it for your main seat. Thats what i did. I liked it WAY better than my MA.

Is the shell taller than the marathon? The padding in the my ride seemed so thin to me after taking out the infant padding, no memory foam underneath. You think?

I had both . . . they are almost the exact same height with exactly the same height top harness. I was disappointed with mine but thats mainly because I have a skinny kid and she would have outgrowns the height before she even hit the 35lbs mark I think

I was actually thinking I needed a different cover for the MR.

I wanted to try Gavin out in it so bad but he wasn't feeling well (he had 102 temp).

I'm not sure what's going on with that. He was acting fine, fell asleep on the way home from the store, and then woke up with a fever. He's had a cold for a couple weeks now so I don't know if it's developing into something more now.

I won't be able to make the check. We are leaving in an hour for the shore and will be away for 9 days.

Wow. 64 bucks. I can barely get milk, bread and eggs for 64 bucks. You guys are so lucky to have these awesome online returns and amazing clearance sections. I would have scooped that seat in a hot minute. I LOVE that cover.

i totally agree, i go down my walmart car seat aisle every time i'm there hoping for some luck but nothing! no target for over 200 miles

Nice score! I originally really wanted a My Ride, but decided against it thinking I'd have a tall baby. I actually kind of like that cover.

And when I was down in the States recently I went to Target 5 times, just because I could. I miss Target.

I just got a My Ride for $64.98!
