I think we gotta ditch the infant inserts.
With the inserts in, his head was WAY over the top of it and he has OVER the second harness slots.
I make big babies.

Where in the hell are the LATCH straps?

Side view, he's just over the bottom slots without the insert:

My LATCH straps were just hanging off the sides. There are little plastic loops on either side that they attached the LATCH connectors to.

That's for the Premiere (and maybe recline?). On the regular TF they are tucked inside, like Britax does.

The latch straps are under the cover, if you pull up the back piece you should be able to access them, look for the orange strap!

I can't recall where the LATCH straps are -- I never had a TF and LATCH at the same time -- but ohmigosh he is soooo precious! I don't remember seeing a picture of him before!

Oops. You're right. I have the TFP and installed the Recline in my friend's car. I just realized JonahBaby has the Casino one. I installed that one as well, in my SIL's car last month. I totally understand why people hated the fact that when rear facing, the harness adjuster gets buried in the seat. At least she is only using it when her granddaughter visits.

He is such a cutie DD was about 6 months when we got her TF and she couldnt really use the infant insert either. I kept trying it bc I thought it looked cute and cozy but she was just to tall.

One side side does look a little thicker than the other, but I don't think they look that different, I had to really really look!

And I LOVE the picture of him sleeping, I could stare a sleeping babies forever!
