About those Turbos with the screws in...

Okay, I know we've had threads before, I'm too lazy to dig them up and then decide which to post in, sorry.

So, did anyone else notice that the backless turbos have the screws in, but the high-back do NOT? I was disappointed to see that at Target yesterday (I had seen the backlesses but the new pattern high-backs were not up yet at my Target.)

I'm wondering if the screws in is only for the backless, because they figure they save enough on packaging to make it worth putting them in and avoiding them getting lost in transit...

Definitely a start! I just hadn't heard it mentioned. :)

I wonder how we could convince them to do it for all their boosters. ;) (Anyone got novel designs for high-back packaging?)

Meh, it's not a big deal to store those boosters. The box needs to be a teeny bit wider, and then you slide the back down between the arms so both the seat and the back are up on end.

Widen the box by maybe 2" and it's completely doable.

Right, but I was thinking if we can REDUCE the packaging, and therefore the cost of it, they'd be more likely to put the screws in. Like they did with the backlesses.

Oh, I see. Well I suppose they could do what I just described with a plastic cover a la the Scenera, although I'm NOT a fan of more plastic packaging. Not in the least.

Hmmm, me neither, though I use my Scenera and Avenue bags as storage and transport bags. What if they made the packaging a reusable travel bag that you could use to tote it around to other people's cars and such-like?

Yeah, I meant something a little more functional. ;) Though I do use it to carry them short distances, and have seen parents hauling them through the airport in them...
