Question Seats or tips that prevent heads on chests?

Evening all, I'm sure this has been covered before but I have to ask.....can anyone recomend a car seat that prevents/cuts down on a child resting their head on their chest when they sleep? We are looking in to buying a new seat for our 1 year old son and know that our 3 year old suffers from this. Thanks a lot, concerned Dad on Vancouver Island.

I'm assuming your one year old is still rear facing? If not he should be. It's up to 500% safer, and it'll solve the head slump issue. In what seat is your three year old sitting, and how much does that child weigh? The three year old can certainly rear face as well, if the seat will accommodate that, and that'll solve that issue as well.

At a year old he should still be rear facing. Long gone are the days when we turn children around on their first birthday, though unfortunately our laws still allow us to do so, and rarely are most parents made aware of how much safer rear facing is.

A rear facing convertible seat, installed at a proper angle for your child's development, will prevent 'head flop', and keep him much much safer in all types of collisions.
