New Hannah cover missing label?

The cover I ordered on sale came today. It's cuter in person than online. I never liked it much in pictures, but when it was super on sale, I couldn't pass it up. Now that it's here, I LOVE it.

I put it on DS's MA. He was napping when it went on. He came out of his bedroom and said "Cheyenne's seat." And I told him "No, that's your seat with new clothes on." And he started to cry and said "NOOOOO, I want my camo seat back!" I honestly did not think it would be that big an issue. He likes the color pink. He's man enough to admit it. Heck, DH and I go out of our way to get him pink shirts for rodeos, because he likes them. But apparently, he was very fond of the camo. So until I get a new seat to wear the Hannah "clothes", his MA will be wearing camo.

But to the point, I thought the reason they were so on sale was because a label or something was missing. I can't see anything different about it than the Mossy Oak one. Did anyone else get one with something missing?

I don't think anyone knows for sure (i.e. no one has called Britax and gotten official confirmation), but speculation is that these were display covers for Target seats. So the label that was removed would be one that said "display only" or something similar.

As far as it being a cover from Target, it's entirely possible, but it looks flawless to me. No grime or smudges or anything. And I can't see any holes or anything where a tag may have been removed. But obviously, I'm no pro at spotting places where tags have been removed, so I don't know. Here's a picture. It's pretty awful quality, but that's what you get with crabby kids and cell phones, lol.

Oh, and a quick question. DS is right about at the second slot, but DD needs the first slot. Is it all right to leave it on the first slot for DS, as long as the straps don't slip off his shoulders? It's a seat in my mom's car, and she prefers to use the MA rather than the infant seat if she only has DD. Is that okay?
