My 5 1/2 yo is almost too tall to use the Maestro as a booster!

I tried ds1 in the maestro as a booster today. Holy cow, it's almost too short for him. I think another 1/2" of torso growth and the belt wouldn't fit properly (coming from behind shoulder). Yet, he has a good inch of harness height! I'll have to get pics when they get home sometime (on a camping trip). I don't know what Evenflo was thinking with making it a combination seat. And adjustable headrest would go a long way in that seat.

At least it fits him well as far as lap belt fit goes and such.

I agree with you in regards to the "what was Evenflo thinking" comment. I haven't played with the seat myself, but saw pictures others here posted and it seemed like you really didn't get any booster time once the harness was outgrown. I guess it might work if you had a 50+lb child who outgrew the harness by weight. Hopefully evenflo will make that headrest adjustable, as then, I think it would be a really great combination seat.

I think you outgrow it as a booster before the harness is outgrown. Which is rediculous!

But it's still a great ffing harnessed seat.
