Logan Snugride 35: Black really IS slimming

It's a nice houndstooth pattern, obviously polyester but feels 'cottony' where the baby sits, with green accents and the outside edges are a form fitting nylon. Put right next to the Lemongrass, which is like poufy canvas and velour, it looked like a whole different seat! I was just totally confused, put them next to each other, picked them both up...no, they are the same, but the black shell and tight cover on the Logan just make it seem extremely sleek, like a Combi seat.
I'm not sure what stroller is coming out to match it, anyone else want to look for it?

We have the Sachi SR32 up here and it too is on a black shell. I agree it just looks so sleek. It's been a steady seller mainly because of the black shell... so many moms (dads don't seem to care as much) saying they are so tired of the grey shell that Graco uses so much.

Black shell sounds like murder here in the summer... Don't see many black cars or much black upholstery either. I can imagine burning my hand on the handle going to get the kid out of the car, ouch!

Doesn't your car have air conditioning  And my car has tinted windows, I guess I've never thought about hot carseat parts, because they aren't

Even with air conditioning, I've burned myself unbuckling a kid. I live in L.A. where we regularly drive an hour and a half to get where we're going, and in the summer even with a/c, which is enough to keep US cool, the sun coming through the windows can make a car seat part burning hot.

aren't the back shells supposed to "last" longer meaning they don't break down like the lighter shells do over time??

That doesn't make much sense to me. Even if true, it wouldn't affect the expiration of the seat. The seat would still expire when it expired.
