what is the highest weight rearfacing and what seat has the highest weight limit?

35lbs is the highest rearfacing limit in the US.
do you mean what brand(s) have that highest RFing limit?
Or do you want the highest weight limit overall(FFing)?
If its the first then the dorel seats(cosco, safety 1st, eddie bauer) all go to 35lbs for rearfacing, and the new recaro will too.
If its the latter then the regent and radian80 go to 80lbs and that is the highest non-special needs seat.

All of the Dorel convertibles (Cosco, Safety 1st and Eddie Bauer) rear-face to 35 pounds. Some may be outgrown by height first, however, due to the height of the seat shell.
Britax and Sunshine Kids convertibles rear-face to 33 pounds. The Roundabout has a shorter seat shell and will sometimes be outgrown by height rear-facing before 33 pounds. The other Britax convertibles should last all kids to 33 pounds rear-facing without getting to tall, due to the tall seat shell.
Forward-facing, the Britax Regent will last the longest--80 pound weight limit and tallest top slots on the market. If you're talking about which CONVERTIBLE will last the longest forward-facing, that would probably be the Radian. It won't last kids to 80 pounds, so the Radian65 is the most cost-effective choice.
