Does anyone have a heavy duty tether mount in a Windstar?

I spoke to EZon and the guy explained that the mount is recommended to be at a 45 degree angle, and I would most likly lose the seat behind it. Then he said since Ford puts it's tether hooks under the seat that they would probably drill it directly in the seat. So now I'm confused.

Yeah, I think they worded it wrong. I can send you the pages from the latch manual that discusses this, if you would like.

I would appreciate it Judi. He said Ford may not require a 45 degree angle. I asked if he meant in the floor under the seat where the original tether hooks are and he said no, in the actual seat. This was a guy that EZon recommended for my area. I just don't want Ford to screw it up like they did the first time they installed tether hooks in my other car. My biggest concern is they will refuse to do it. Then, which install would I go by, the one that EZon recommends or one that Ford decides they want it done?

I will be getting the tether kit item # 100H ($24) on page 15 of the Family Vehicle catolog.
Or maybe I'll just get the 86y ($64) which comes with it.

But I want to make sure Ford will put it in the right spot.
