... if anything, on the straps to the Cosco Scenera.
I put YDD in it for the first time just now to get the straps moved to the correct position and she was in it for maybe 2 minutes tops.
the strap made a red mark on her neck in just that time.

is there anything i can use to cover the straps to prevent this? she was in the myride before and i had the strap covers that came with it on there...

You can pull the material of her shirt between her and the harness. Make sure you're not over tightening (it just needs to be tight enough that you can't pinch slack at the shoulders, no tighter) and that the chest clip isn't too high.

the chest clip wasn't too high and the straps weren't to tight. it just seemed like they were to close to her neck. i could lower the clip some maybe. but i don't want it to be too low.

i thought about her clothes, but she was wearing a halter top dress, so there wasn't much to work with.

what about an infant wash cloth maybe?

I'd be okay with a wash cloth, but don't pin it to the straps or anything like that. Or you could give Dorel a call & see if they sell an aftermarket strap cover that's okay to use on your seat. Some manufacturers have them.

Are thin baby socks with the toes cut out still ok strap covers? That's what I remember being told to use on my infant seat around 6 years ago...
