UPDATE in post #9.

This is the Titan Elite I picked up at Target for $24.98.:D I'm not going to be keeping this seat. It is going to my friend who's 4 month old is about to outgrow his infant seat. I just wanted to have some fun before I sent it away.:p

I installed it in my 2000 Chevy Suburban next to our MA using the lap/shoulder belt. I was able to get a great install in less then 3 minutes. The leg room on this seat is awesome but unfortunetly I'm not sure my LO would make it to even 2 yo RF'ing in it.:(

And I know the chest clip should be up a little higher. I just put him in real quick to take the pics and although it doesn't look like it he was really not interested in playing car seats with me today.

Here are the pics and just for fun what do you think?

Tried to get some side shots so you could see how much room he has left above his head.

Gosh, he is so darn cute.

While he does have more leg room in the Titan, he only looks to have about an inch and a half (maybe 2") of growth room height wise, and looks to have significantly more in the MA.

I must have missed this, but did you get the Titan as a secondary seat?

Thanks and I totally agree. :)

I picked up the Titan just because it was only $24.98 at Target and I just couldn't resist.

First of all I think he's just gorgeous. So blonde and tan...and just all around adorable.

Secondly, while he does have more room in the MA, given his big ole torso, I'm surprised by how much room he DOES have in the Titan. I was always under the impression it just wasn't a roomy seat that would last very long. Maybe I was wrong, but the shell is taller, adn the seat deep than I thought.

cute model!!

The leg room is nice... too bad the shell isn't taller! I do like that cover on the titan though!

So nice of you too get a seat for your friend

Just wanted to update.

My friend came over today with her little guy and she loved the seat. Her little man seemed to really like it too.:D She wanted to put it in right away instead of waiting for him to outgrow the bucket, so I showed her how to install it using latch (that's what she prefers). The install took a bit longer than it did in my vehicle, but not bad at all and it was rock solid. He looked so comfy in it and had tons of growing room left. He is 95% for weight and 75% for height but it seems to be in his legs rather than his torso.

They are going through a really rough time right now. She quit her job to stay home with their four kids (ages 8, 7, 6, and 4 months). Her dh just had to have his gallbladder out last month and he just went for a biopsy yesterday for a painful lump on his neck. He has been battling (I believe) non-hotchkins lymphoma (sp?) but he's been cancer free for 5 years. The doctor believes it's back now. So he's been out of work for a few weeks already and now they aren't sure what's going to happen with him and his job.:(

He's so cute!! I love seeing pics of him!

I'm so sorry to hear about what's going on with your friend and her DH. :( How nice of you to pick this seat up for them, and it's great that it'll fit her kiddo for a while.

I just want to eat him up! Wow! It does have tons of leg room, but it looks way short! I am glad you could help your friend.
