What's the process for requesting new Radian cover/boot?

I have a Radian XTSL I purchased in December. It has the Eclipse cover, which I like, but has started fuzzing up very badly at several different parts of the mesh. It's worst on the side my son climbs up to get in the seat and where his head rests, but it's starting to have this problem everywhere. I've read that some of you have had Sunshine Kids send you replacement covers because of wear issues, how do I go about requesting one? Is it difficult to get them to approve it?

Also, I heard that you can get the old style boot to help get a more upright install. I can install mine at a decent angle, but over time it reclines more and I have to redo the install. I'm hoping if I get the old style boot I won't have to keep reinstalling it. My son is only 22 months, but he already weighs 37 pounds so I think that's why my install keeps gradually getting pushed to a worse angle. Does Sunshine Kids charge for the boot? How do I go about requesting one? Thank you!

Actually, in many cars you get a more upright install with the new boot than the old one.

If you're having problems with your seat, just call Sunshine Kids. What they send out replacements for seems to vary. Just explain your problems and see what they offer. You may have to send pictures.

I had the same seat cover and problem with 2 of my seats. One was Jan and one was Feb. I called SSKJP and explained the problem. I stated that two seats having the same issue in 4-5m of use was unacceptable especially with the 8yr life span. I sent in pictures of all the fraying and of the DOM and model #'s. I was issued bently covers since I requested something without the mesh and that is what they had in stock. It took about 3w. One new cover was damaged and missing pieces still waiting on the replacement.

Sorry I know nothing about the boot.
