40lb Scenera question

So, apparently they're keeping a 35lb scenera model as well as adding the 40lb one? I participate in the weeview surveys and actually won

a prize last week. Of course if a carseat is an option, that's what i'm taken. Well, I came home to find the scenera on the steps yesterday already and just figured it would be an older dom with the 35lb limit, but the dom is 7-19-10 and it states 35lbs as limit rearfacing. Just sharing.

I doubt they will keep making it in the long term, but it's going to take some time for them to get rid of all the old ones (even the old ones made practically yesterday, lol), just like it's taken years for them to phase out the 35lb RF Alpha Omegas. "old" seats tend to pop up like that after they have reached retired status, like "Classic" Marathons, and the Vivos that made it to stores after the Probooster had taken over.
Sorry you didn't get the 40, though, that would have been super cool.
