Okay this might be impossible but I have to try?

I have a very limited budget(cannot have a car payment) and need to buy a minivan or car for $1000.00. I would like to get a minivan because I am going to have two kids in car seats. I have owned mainly sedans since I have owned cars and am getting tired of them. I would like to have something that is roomy if at all possible.

Hmmm...that IS going to be tough. I would look for older model Dodge minivans (Caravans, not Grand Caravans)...that might be your best luck. I think you might run into high mileage/reliability issues with it, though, if you find one. I've owned two Dodge GCs and while I love them and prefer them over other minivans, we get rid of them before 35K miles to avoid some of the common "issues" (transmission being one) known with them. Other than that, I have no idea! Good luck! :)

For $1000, I think a sedan would be a much better choice, and two in carseats is quite possible. Maybe you can get a minivan for your *next* vehicle.
