Safety 1st hybrid go question

We are using out hybrid go this week. I know it needs headrest support but I'm not sure what the best way to go about using the headrest is. The car we are driving has adjustable headrests. Should the hybrid go's headrest just be against the poles holding ip the headrest or should the headrest be involved too. When we try to use the headrest as support too we are finding it pushes the head wings forward and it tends to slide down. I can take pics if needed.

I would check the instructions for guidance. I know the SafeGuard version of the Go requires that the headrest be all the way down. And that just makes sense to me-- the poles don't provide head restraint, they support the head rest which does.

In some cars you can turn the headrest around backwards and it has a flat surface, and will lock in place that way. I'd check the vehicle manual and see if it allows doing this when installing a child restraint.

If you can't do that, and the Go requires that the headrest be down, I guess you either deal with it, or choose another restraint. If you find this to be an incompatibility between the head restraint of the vehicle and the child restraint, I'd encourage you to report it to Dorel and the vehicle manufacturer both. If they don't know about these issues, they can't work on fixes for them. :)
