I bet it's the new SR30...they mentioned that at Lifesavers... man, I hope it has a lockoff, too!

Ahhh. I get it.

SR30
SR32
SR35

Makes sense that the new base on what appears to be the old 22lb seat looks a whole lot like the 32 and 35 base.

I love it when a plan comes together.

The 32 isn't made anymore, as far as I know. It was only made for six months or so, before the 35 came out. But there are a bunch still being sold and used. But their active lineup for infants should be the 30 and 35. We'll see the 22, 30, 32, and 35 used together for a long time, though.

Here's $5 for Graco's naming department, too.

It's about time to phase out the 22, I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone before too much longer, especially if the 30 has a superior installation.

Well, I hope it hangs on just a bit longer or we'll be buying our car seat soon. I just snagged a SR22 base on clearance from Target, and am eying a SR22 for this baby. I know I could go with a higher-weight seat, but we've got seats waiting for him/her and I fear buying a higher-weight seat only to have the kiddo hate the infant seat like DD did.

I saw 4 harness positions half way through reading the manual on page 22.

Page 13, too. Whoo hoo! Three positions for the lap straps to get longer, and two crotch positions and two shoulder lengths (well, that part's the same as the 22).
