YEAH! We would LOVE for you to join our great Child Passenger Safety Team here in Spokane! The next tech class in town will be September 11-14, 2007. There is also a class in Moses Lake in April (I think).
A great way to be involved before you get certified is to start coming to check up events and being a scribe. You would be working with a tech, filling out the paperwork while they check the seat educate the parents. We will be having a check on April 14 at the fairgrounds, and another one pretty much every month.
The Safekids contact person is Marion Lee at the Spokane Regional Health District. I will PM you with her email (look up near the top of the page, under where it says "welcome . . . " - you can click there to get your private messages. I will also send you my email address.
