Ok...I think I may have vented briefly before about this "friend" I have. I say it like that because we used to be best friends, then roommates, I couldn't stand living with her so we went back to just best friends. Well, she decided to leave her dd with me ALL day and ALL night on New Years Eve (last year) - she was supposed to come pick her up at 5 pm. Well I couldn't get her to answer her phone ALL night --- she came and got her dd at like 2 am. I was livid....she ruined our NYE plans. And she never paid me for it. So, we didn't talk for about 6 months. We talk on and off, but haven't really hung out at all.

So, she has a myspace and puts up new pics. Her dd will be 5 in June. She has posted 2 pics on myspace of her in nothing but a seat belt....and the shoulder portion is behind her in one and under her arm in the other. I don't know what to say to get thru to her!!! And ever since I've posted pics of Jana in her carseats (MA and Regent) on myspace and posted a few blogs about the importance of 5 pt harness vs seatbelt/booster - she started posting these pics of her dd.

She is pregnant and due in May....I fear for both of her little girls lives!

So...WWYD?

Honestly, it seems to me like she's posting those pics to spite you... :( Is that possible with her? It just seems odd that she'd post those after you posted your pics/blog. On her blog, what is the context of the pics? Most folks don't just post pics of their kids sitting in the car - we do, b/c we're posting about the seats, etc., but just to post a pic of your child in different cars is odd, IMHO.

It doesn't mean that you shouldn't still stay something, but be prepared for a nasty response. Perhaps some of us could post comments...?

I would drop a note and leave it at that...it is possible that she is posting them out of spite...but chances are that isnt the case IMO. If you guys were good friends, then I am sure she knows your stance of carseats. In the note I would add a few quick crash videos and some statistics. I know it is hard seeing children that arent properly restrained, especially ones that you love, but if she isnt breaking any laws then there isnt much more you can do:(
