My sister is listening afterall...

So you never know with family how much they actually hear when you talk car seats. My sister is just the example. Her daughters are 23 months old and 5 months old. The 23 month old is rear facing still. She is still not "legal" to forward face.

So last night I broke the car seat I bought for my baby niece. I told sister she was going to need to buy the baby or older daughter a new seat. I half expected that sister was going to FF the older child. I had resigned my self to the fact and was happy that I was able to get her to 23 months.

So imagine my suprise when sister calls and ask if she should buy a scenera or a myride for the little one. I mentioned that she could buy a combo seat for the older one and save a little money and she said no that she was going to keep her rear facing for a little while longer.

She ended up buying the myride bc it came with an infant insert and had the higher harness weight for the little fatty of a baby.

I was so happy I might cry. This all comes after learning my SIL put my 19 month niece in a high back booster......

That's wonderful. My sister still has my 20 month old nephew rf-ing in his KF. He's almost outgrown it and I'm a little worried that she'll just ff him because she's already griped about how she hates installed his BLVD rfing.

I'm so glad you're sister is hearing you, and sorry your SIL is not. :(
