the screws!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I work at a summer camp. One of the kids slept over a another kid's house last night. Mom brought his booster to camp yesterday morning so he could take it home with him that afternoon. It was a backless TB, with the screws, and with the adjuster strap. Kid is 7. Would be better if it was highback but mostly I was thrilled to see that it had the screws in and was being used in a friend's car. :)

It was soft and fuzzy and I got to pet it. I told kiddo that I liked his booster and asked if I could kept it. But he said no cause he needs it! :thumbsup:

Awesome all around.

I'd be fine with a backless for a seven year old for something like a trip with friends. Wouldn't even blink at it.

I think he's backless full time but whatever. I try to keep all kids under 8 in highbacks in my car but I'm happy to see a 7 year old in a properly used booster, no matter what kind. I find parents are much more receptive to statements like, "That's so awesome you're using his booster correctly and even sent it with him for the sleepover! He's so much safer. Did you know most kids need boosters until 10 to 12 years old?" Leads into discussion of how seat belt should fit, 5 step test, and hopefully a while longer in the booster for the kid. Instead of me saying something like, "Did you know he's so much safer in a hb booster? Blah, blah, blah." Probably leads to parent doing nothing and kid being out of the booster too early.
