Radian + Mercedes = Lots of cursing

Tried both outboard seats with LATCH because I prefer the Radian installed with LATCH....but (I suppose as to not compromise the uniform, seamless look of the seats) the LATCH hooks in the Mercedes are buried soooo deep I just could not get them hooked.

Switch to seatbelt.....stiff belt stalks make for a twisted belt and a not even close to acceptably tight install.

Final install went something like:

Moves seat to center....spend 12 minutes making the seat tight and searching far and wide for top tether anchor. Gives up. Straps kid in, says bye to him, tells cousin "DO NOT REMOVE SEAT!", hands over overnight bag, instruct on medication, say "F-U, Mercedes" under my breath, gets back in my car wishing I had just brought the GN to use in booster mode....

Which Mercedes? I've installed our radian in many models with no problem. RFing or FFing? I'd be happy to help for next time.

Oh, it'll probably never be in there again. Or by the time it needs to be, he'll be in a booster. It was FF in an S550.
