ProSport and 3 across?

Has anyone tried this seat in a 3 across situation? I am going to be buying DS a new seat in September and I'm not sure whether to go with the Prosport or the Frontier. I only need to do 3 across in the summer when SS is visiting. So I was thinking that I could either buy the PS and hope that 3 across fits or buy a Frontier now and try and figure something else out by next summer. DS is 4.5, about 42", and 40lbs. The seats that will ride on either side of DS are both FPSE boosters for my 9 and 10yr olds. OH...and our car is a Mazda MPV with the smallest third row ever.:D
