Looking at getting a Scerena as an extra seat. They have ugly, no wait fugly gender nuetral and boy covers. Why do girls get all the cute stuff? That's all, no one else would understand and just say "who cares? it's just a car seat."

Um, the Scenera actually comes in some of the cutest pink covers out there. Wait - you are in canada. Maybe it doesn't there. But we have all kinds of pink goodness down here. Sorry.

ETA - nope, asked some canadian techs, who verified you guys have pink sceneras up there. Maybe try a different store?

She has two boys - I think she's looking for a boyish cover.

The US has the black/lime and black/orange - are those available in Canada?

I detest pink with a passion, so no pink here. If I ever have a girl (please no) she would be in blue.

Hmm, I wonder if my in-laws who are going to ND this weekend could find a nice scerena, take the cover off and bring it across the boarder:whistle: Ooooh and I could send the cover of the seat bought here with them and then they could donate the seat. Now only if my in-laws cared:rolleyes:

I find it is much harder in general to find cute boy patterns for carseats!! My infant seat is adorable (its the argyle snugride 35) but my convertibles? Not at all... sucks.

I hated pink until I had girls. Girl #1 wore blue & green. By girl #4 I had come around as far as clothes go. She wore nothing but pink for months. But, yeah, I still don't see pink in my vehicles.

I felt that way until I held DD1 the first time. The overwhelming urge to dress her in pink and lace took over. It was radiating from her. DD2, not so much. She had a fair amount of clothing from the boy's dept. Why do boys get all the blue stuff with doggies?!

And, even with a girl I would go out and buy right at this moment an orange Hawaiian print carseat if some one were to make one!
