Which is a better every day seat for 6 y/o Radian or Graco Nautilus?

Hi,
I own both these seats. I have had the Radian in my car (honda Odyssey) for several years. I recently bought the Graco Nautilus for our 2nd car (not used much) Should I put the Nautilus in the Odyssey or stick w/ the Radian? My daughter is about 45 pounds and average to small in height. I plan to use the Nautilus with the 5 points harness not as a booster. Thanks for your input. elyse

I think it really comes down to her preference. Both are great seats and i would happily use either. Does she prefer one over the other?

Also just want to check in that you are using the top tether on both seat.

Thank you--that is good to know. I do have the top tether on the Radian. I have not yet installed the Nautilus. Btw, is it difficult to install? thx. elyse

Nautilus should be easy to install compared to the radian! lol

I have one of each for my daughter and the radian is my van but she is in the van the most and it is rear-facing.

Which radian do you have? If the radian doesn't have headwings you might want to put the nautilus in the van for the extra head support.

If she sleeps though she might have ans easier time sleeping the the radian though since some kids have head slump in the nautilus.

Are they both outboard (near the door) or is one in the center? If she is in the center in one car but not the other I would put a radian without head support in the center and the nautilus outboard since it has the extra head support.

Clear as mud! ;)

I also agree to let her choose. I have both seats and love them; the Nautilus has the cup holders but we have head slump when sleeping. So, my 4y/o chooses her Radian each time, she sleeps so well in it and the memory foam really helps :)
