Best Convertible for a Car Sleeper?

This isn't an issue for like 6-7 months but if you had a 1.5 year old who was a big car sleeper what convertible would you prefer for them? Space isn't an issue (seat would be installed in a mini van) seat won't be a huge issue either...

Are there any that are more... cushy than others? Or ones that fit a smaller baby better? The only seats I have experience with are the CA (like) the Scenera (not so much on the like) and the RA (nice, but my kids both outgrew it insanely early).

At 18 months it'd be the rare baby who didn't fit into any convertible yet. So that's open. Most babies don't care much about padding (they're not as heavy as we are). Sleeping with shallow sides also tends not to be a problem. So I'd look at the same convertibles I recommend for anything, and know they're good for sleeping too. :)

Sunshine Kids Radians
Learning Curve True Fits
Graco My Ride
Evenflo Momentum or Triumph Advance.

The Complete Air is also on that list, but you have it already.

Thanks! The MyRides look so cushy... I am more wondering about smaller babies in terms of passing the seat down to younger siblings. We have a SR35 we usually use for them first but if we have any more super tall kids like DS2 it won't last very long! Short chunkers like my first kid last forever in it...

Radians, True Fits, Momentum, Triumph Advance, and My Ride all fit newborns. The Complete Air doesn't. Short and chunky, probably the Momentum, Triumph Advance 65 (it's just coming out), and My Ride.

The MyRide is very nice for FF sleepers too, if you're looking down the road. My 4-yr-old will fall asleep on a 5-minute drive, and she looks so comfy in her MR.

I'd want to see how the new Britaxes do, if I had seven months to shop around... I love the old ones for sleeping, though.

If our next baby is shorter and chunkier like my first one of the new Britax seats would probably work... and the MR does look so comfy!
