Alas, it has happened

Charlie has reached the LATCH limit. I've gotta move my seats today anyway (gonna try Sam in the CCO one last time before scrapping it, and I want to switch their sides) so I'll be installing it LBP and hoping for the best! Mid July in FL is the BEST time to play car seat! Woo hoo!

That about as much fun as playing car seats in TX. Do you have enough outdoor lighting to wait until 10 pm or so? Or get up really, really, really early in the morning?

I'm looking forward to getting my new seats, not so much installing them. I need an installation fairy. Or a magic wand.... ;)

I always assumed installing seats was a penance of sorts. Sweat your rear off and absolve sin at the same time. But Oklahoma summers are similar to Dante's Inferno anyway.
I need to put the radian back in and install baby's seat today if possible. Good luck with your seat rearranging.

I feel your pain... had to drag my 6 months pregnant butt out into the driveway for a few hours yesterday to make sure my 3 across worked!! And unfortunately we don't have outdoor lighting and I only have the car sometimes since we share one vehicle... so I got to play carseat mambo at 11 am. I agree we need an install fairy...

I tried to post this RIGHT before the maintence. I should have taken it as a sign that I should in fact be installing my Radian, but I did not.

My Radian (have I mentioned that I hate my Radian) is sitting up against my couch right now. Right this second is probably the best time to install it since it's only 80* and 99% humidity right now instead of the 99* and 100% it will be later, and I haven't showered yet.

Well I got it in very securely with minimal heat stroke. The seat is a bit further back then I would have liked, and now I can't bring up my third row. So if I ever want to put someone in the seat behind Charlie, I'll have to remove his seat in order to put his seatback up enough to allow the third row seat to come up. Oh well.
But my belt was long enough, and it's solid. Yay! Though now I have no compelling reason to trade my FR85 for another GN.
