Have a seat issue...

I think DS has outgrown his Radian XT. Does the regular one have a slightly higher strap height?

We use the XT in our friend's car for a three across. The seat is FFing btwn two FFing MAs. I can't imagine what else would fit there. The only thing I can imagine would be safeguard go hybrid. Would that puzzle okay? Would feel okay with using that seat btwn two MAs.

The SG-G (er, the Safety First Go or whatever they call it now) is actually pretty wide and not a good three-acrosser.

Keep in mind Sunshine Kids allows you to continue using the Radian even when the shoulders are above the top harness position as long as the child is below the overall height limit (53") and the child's ear tops are below the top of the seat.

If the outgrowing is more a comfort issue, I'd go with a Ride Safer Travel Vest between two Marathons :twocents:

How could I forget about that SK RN rule? I must be sleep deprived.. Oh yeah.. I have a new baby too;). Thanks for reminding me. I've even spoken to Russ about it. I guess we'll keep using the seat for a while longer.

All the Radians have the exact same harness heights, but the 65/80 may be more comfortable than the XT when used beyond the top slots because the headwings don't adjust above the top slots.

Heh, I just noticed that the SG-G is now the S1-G. Which is almost like SG-1. Which is entirely cool in a very geeky way. :ROTFLMAO:

The Go might well work, the wide part is the armrests that is down below the side wing parts of the MA. Hecka easier to buckle than the RSTV, too, if it does indeed fit. (I don't put mine next to other seats, but rather in the narrow center of my Escape and big kids can ride on either side of it, and it doesn't block their outboard buckles at all).

That's what I was wondering. I knew the slots were the same but was wondering if the headrest took up space like it does on the BLVD.

I'm going to take a pic of him in the regular RN and let you all see how he looks in it.

I can't believe he is that tall already! I just saw him last October! Tell him he can't grow!

The headrest doesn't lower the top slots like the Blvd, but they only adjust to the top slots. So if your child's shoulders are above the top slots, they'd be hitting the bottom of the headwings.
