Re: blink vs maclaren vs cybex

I bought the Blink for my stepdaughter's 2 year-old. He still has plenty of room in it above his head and he's probably average height, about 33-34 inches tall and 28 lbs. It pushes like a dream and she loves it. I also bought one for $80 when Baby Earth had it as a GaGa deal. It is the Kites pattern. I haven't taken it out of the box yet though! I am trying to decide whether I should keep it and sell either my Zooper Twist or Waltz. Or neither, and just sell the Blink!

Seriously, those GaGa deals on Baby Earth were a bad thing for me to discover, in addition to Baby Steals and Baby Half-Off! And I don't even have babies of my own!!!

If you're used to the push of the Quest, I think you may be disappointed with the Blink. If you've never owned a Mac, I think you'd probably be perfectly happy, but it's hard to go from a Mac to something "like a Mac"...
I would see if you can push one around first. Really, in terms of push, you can't beat a Mac...

This is what I've heard, too. If you're going from a cheapy umbrella to a Blink, it's gonna feel super nice, but I've heard that going from a Mac to the Blink is a step down, push-wise.

Re: blink vs maclaren vs cybex

I have a Maclaren and a Blink. I do think the Maclaren pushes better with kids that are at the higher end of the weight range. But the Blink has a really good push and it's still one-handed. I don't think I would sell a Quest to buy a Blink just because they are such similar strollers and the Maclaren has a higher resale value, but if you wanted a Quest but can't afford the Quest price tag then the Blink is a nice alternative. I wrote up a review comparing the Volo and the Blink awhile ago, but never posted it. I can try to find it if you're interested.
