Any interest in an older radian?

SOLD! Radian 03/07 DOM

This has SOLD. Thank you for your interest. :)

The original person who contacted me decided she couldn't afford the seat due to unforseen financial circumstances. I contacted others who have pm'd me, but haven't heard back. I would really like to sell this!

After cleaning it up, packaging, and figuring out what it would cost to ship in the lower 48 I definitely want to sell this. I'm asking $130 shipped in the lower 48 (approx $100 for the seat + $30 shipping). If you're in Alaska or Hawaii I'll have to check shipping costs. The seat has pretty average wear for the age, it looks pretty good after I cleaned it with a damp cloth and water and washed the cover (line dried it). There is a bit of wear on the crotch pad stitching.

Oh, and apparently it rf's to 35lbs.

(original post below)

I have an older radian (DOM 03/07) that I'm considering selling and purchasing a new seat for dd (simply because I really hate how it works in my Sienna). The cover on it was Granite, and I still have that. I also have a princess coverset I'd be selling as well (the princess cover has only been used for a few months). This model rf to 33lbs.

If interested, I'd love to know what you'd be willing to pay for it. Feel free to PM. Trying to decide if it's worth selling or not.

Thanks!

Based on the DOM... A radian lasts 8 years- meaning 96months- minus 41 months= 55months remaining. Which means in perfect condition the seat would be worth approx $114.
What is it you are looking to get out of the seat?

Also, the old seats rf to 35 pounds. It was retroactive- just as the second model rf to 40 pounds retroactively.

Actually, no, the 35lbs was only retroactive to 09/08 seats or later. This one is too early.

I've actually had a lot of interest in the seat right now and am discussing it with those who have pm'd me (currently back and forth with the first pm I got).

I'd LOVE to buy the Princess cover if it would fit an older Radian65! How much would you like for it?

Yes, it fits a 65. The only issue I have with the cover is that one of the snaps will not snap onto the seat. It's actually a defect in the cover as it came that way and there were no more available so I didn't return it. It probably could be fixed with a pair of pliers, but honestly works just fine without the snap. I paid $65.99 for it, including all of the pads and it is in excellent shape. So make me an offer (here or pm).

I am pretty sure the 9/08 date was just for the 40 lb retro limit. There is a another day cut-off that made a bunch of the 33 lb stickered seats retroactive to 35 lbs. Maybe it was 1-08? I know my seat was an early 08 seat and I was told several times that it could go up to 35 lbs (both by people on this board and by SKJP).

It is not retroactive that far back, unfortunately. Of course, if you want you can call SKJP to confirm. But from what I foudn out when the 35lb limit came out and from a quick search it is not.

Radian's made pre 9/08 rf to 35lbs. There is a chart at the bottom of this page that explains the radian's and what is what.

Thanks so much for the link! As the owner of a summer '06 DOM Radian, I had been meaning to search through old threads for the various (confusing) retroactive weight limit changes in the Radian product line, but I didn't really think the 33 lb to 35 lb update went that far back, so I wasn't very motivated to look. Nice to have the information appear so effortlessly :)

what is the weight limit on it? I didn't see that, and am not sure how the older radians work :) I get the retro RF limit, but what is the FF limit? Oh and is there a RF boot?

Thanks!

As of now I have a buyer.

But just in case you look at other older ones, it rf's to 35lbs, ff to 65lbs (hence, radian 65). In this case I have all the original parts and instruction manual, including the rfing boot.
