Question Need help with picking a car seat

I need to buy my daughter a new car seat soon. She will be 3 in October but she is also taller. I need recommendation on a high back seat. I want a seat that has the highest possible weight limit for the harness. Also, we are buying a new vehicle this fall, so the seat has to be able to fit in a Dodge Nitro and still have plenty of room. Before I forget, she is forward facing.

What seat is your child currently in? How is she outgrowing it (by listed max standing height, shoulder over the top harness slot, or by weight)?

She is in an older style Safety 1st Alpha Omega. She is out growing it by the shoulder is above the top harness slot.
