Dh has given me the go ahead to get whatever seats I want

I'm not sure he realizes how dangerous this is. ;)

So far this morning I've ordered a tadpole Olli for Gabriel and a matching Daisy Nautilus for Abigail.

I'm waffling on getting Caleb CA LX's because he technically still fits fine in his MA, but like I mentioned on another thread ;), he likes to kick his sister. He also fights me getting in by pushing his legs against the back of the seat and staying straight. Maybe if he had more leg room he wouldn't/couldn't do the pushing against the seat thing?

That's awesome! I wish dh would let me get new seats. DD3 also does the pushing against the seat thing. Drives me crazy!

Wait, um, you are supposed to ask DH before buying a seat? Guess that is my problem.

So yay or nay on the CA's for CJ?

I could get a Maestro for Dh's car for Kaleigh since she'll be outgrowing her BLVD soon there. Then I could sell the BLVD, and both MAs to kinda help make up for it.

Or I could get CJ one CA or my car and leave both CowMoo MAs in dh's care just because it's so darn cute.

So with what I have and what I have on the way

In my car -
Gabe will be in an Olli
Abigail will be harnessed in a Nauti w/her PW as a backup seat
Kaleigh will be harnessed in a Nauti
Caleb is rearfacing in a MA

In dh's car -
Kaleigh is in a BLVD ff-ing
CJ is rearfacing in a MA

Do I sell all the Britax seats and get CAs for Caleb and get what for Kaleigh? Maybe a Maestro or a CA as well? She has a little bit left to grow in the BLVD and almost a full strap setting in the MA. She doesn't sleep in his car because she's only in it for to and from daycare. She'll be ready for a booster before she hits 50 lbs I think and in DH's car there's a spot for her to ride in one.

My DH didn't even notice that I had a brand new seat in our car and he even buckled Katelyn in it! I ended up having to use the Alma MR in my car after letting my friend borrow the TFP for her nephew to use in her car. I was waiting for him to say something because how could you not notice that the plain black and gray TFP had been replaced with a purple and floral print seat??? I finally asked him if he had noticed it and he said he thought something looked different but he wasn't sure! And then he never even asked me WHY I bought another seat!

Yes, sell the Britax. I would look at the Maestro.

:ROTFLMAO:
That's what I keep thinking! Why does everyone involve DH? LOL

There have been times in our marriage where we didn't have much money. We recently went through several months of no income followed by a very expensive move and a ridiculous "starting wage", so I can totally understand having to discuss with DH for financial reasons.

But once we had income again, I figured, he trusts me completely with the finances, and wouldn't flinch if I spent $300 on some shoes, or groceries, or kids' clothes without asking him... so I went ahead and bought new car seats .
