Airplanes and seats?

After talking with hubby if Dorian still fits in his Radian in Nov we want to take it because we think he will sleep better in that instead of the airline seat.

Will I be able to take a Radian on domestic and international flights?
Also, anyone ever had their kiddo make it over 8 in a Radian.:p

(BTW-I believe it is Alaska for domestic and United for international.)

Ds has traveled domestic with his radian. He will be 8 in Nov and can still fit his radian. He is 52" and 54 pounds.

I have taken it on us air and allegiant. I got a few looks, and had one attendant check for faa stickers. Two have almost fallen down when they reached for teh seat.

It installed easily and ds was much more comfortable in it then the one flight where we left it behind. The tray worked nicely with it, his legs were more comfortable, and it was easy to see out teh window.

Domestic flights, you won't have any issues. International -- depends on the carrier as to policy on child seats.

DD slept awesomely great in her Radian on long haul flights. But she outgrew it last year right before turning 6. She's been mentioning its loss frequently since we're getting ready to fly out tomorrow. Sorry kid, regular aircraft seat now. (sigh)
