Some of you know that my brothers car burnt. So we need to buy a new car. We have picked out a 2004 grand prix that only has 34,000 miles . The guy how is selling it the car belonged to his elderly mother, so it wasn't driven that much.
Well we are going to take the grand prix and my brother is going to take the grand am.
So my question how well do car-seats fit in the grand prix. It has leather seats and I am worried about getting a tight fit. My dear nephew rides in a graco cozy cline.

Does any one have any experince with this car?

We have a 1995 Grand Prix and we've installed a Britax Boulevard, Britax Marathon, Britax Regent, Graco SnugRide, and Graco ComfortSport. Usually the biggest problem we've had is the long belt stalks which seems to be a Pontiac thing from what I've noticed.

i have a 04 grand prix gtp and have no problems installing seats in it. It doesn't have leather, but i don't forsee a problem. Easy to get 3 across if ever needed too. I've installed in it:
True Fit
True Fit Premiere
Britax Boulevard
Britax Roudabout 50
Recaro Como
Safeseat 1
Keyfit 30
Evenflo discovery 5
cosco highback combo
britax frontier 85
Combi coccoro
graco myride
Evenflo triumph advance
Radian 65/80

Easy with latch or belt and it has top anchors in all three seating locations as well as latch.

It is best to have nothing between the car seat and the vehicle seat.

What is your nephew's age and size? The Cozy Cline is a nice seat, but it has very limited use.

He is 3 years and 1 month, 26.8 lb's and 36 or 37 in tall. He can't rear face because he would get car sick with all the stop and go's. Now on the high he rear face in a britax boulvard. We tried many many things to keep him refacing bu it wasn't working and he has bad reflux so we had to make a desion (sp).
If we didn't have so many red lights, speed bumps, and stop signs I think he could have refaced longer.

He still has alot of room to in his car seat thank goodness.
He loves the car-seat he ride in to. Its so comfortable.
