Radian XT issues

I have had my RadianXT in Malibu since Nov 09 (9ish months) I have notices that the stickers are turning colors and peeling off, which bothers me, but not enough to really do anything about it. The last time that I washed it I took the cover off and now one of the snaps will not stay snapped, I even had my DH try thinking that I maybe wasn't pushing hard enough. Then today I took the cover off the seat to wash it again, and its is terribly faded in the seat part. I had thought that it was just dirty, bit looking closer where the flap that covers the adjuster strap is over you can see the original color.

I am going to contact Sunshine Kids, but I am frustrated, this is not a cheap seat, in 9 months I wouldn't expect to have these issues. Anyone else had these issues?

The sticker issue is extremely common on the SKJP seats. I have an XTSL and my stickers are starting to bubble. The Malibu cover also has known fading issues. Not sure about the snap. Haven't heard that one yet.

Do you mean the snaps inside the hip area? If so, I have that problem too ... and the fading. They're Malibu covers as well.

I have the same problem with the snap issue (Malibu Cover as well) the 1st time I took it off, one of the snaps will not snap.

I have been waiting (and waiting and waiting) for a new cover covered under warranty since the beginning of March from SK for a XT (I don't care what cover they send)....ours was starting to unravel at the top, they agreeded it needs to be replaced, but everything is on "Backorder" I call every month and get the same answer, "We don't have one to send you, bus as soon as we get one it, it'll be shipped out ASAP"

Yes the hip snap. I am glad to hear that I am not alone. I was shocked at how faded it was. I am hoping they will send a new cover, but I really like the Malibu I don't really want a different one.....

I've had a problem with my cover too. I've actually been afraid to take it off since it looks very complicated compared to most seats. I have one of the mesh covers and it is fuzzing up very badly on the side my son climbs over to get in, the back where his head rests and on the bum. Overall I love the seat, but I'm very disappointed with the quality of the cover, we bought it in December so it's not very old!
