Anyone own a 2007 mitsubishi outlander that would have an idea on what rear facing convertible carset would best fit in the backseat

I do not have an Outlander but looked at them when searching for a vehicle. We decided to go with the CX-7 and the back seats look to be similar size. I am able to fit just about anything in my back seat RF while at a more upright angle (for older babies and toddlers). As far as compatibility goes, I'm not sure what is compatible but I would bet on at least a MyRide, True fit, Complete Air, Britax convertibles and Evenflo convertibles. I'm also a big fan of Radians but am not sure if it is compatible with that specific vehicle. It works fine in my CX-7 though.

What is the size and age of the child you are purchasing for?

He is 6 months but at 18 pounds I believe his carrier only goes to 22 and 29 inches (he is already 27.5) so I know he will not be in it much longer so I decided to start researching now. Thank you for the ideas.

Don't pay attention to the height limit. It is just a guideline, but the weight limit is set in stone. He'll need a new seat when he reaches the max weight limit OR when there is less than an inch of shell above the top of his head. If he has a longer torso, he may have outgrown the infant seat already.

Since he is already 18lbs, I would suggest convertible seats with a RF limit of 40-45 lbs. Those would be the Radians, Complete Air, Evenflo Momentum, Evenflo Triumph Advance 65, and the Graco MyRide. All will RF most children to at least 3 yrs old. My long torsoed 34 month old still fits in the MyRide, Radian, and Complete Air. The Radian and Complete Air is likely to get most children RF to at least 4 yrs old. All of these seats will get most children to proper boostering age as well (around 5-6 yrs old)
